Like any pair of sunglasses the better you care for them the longer they will last. If they go in salt water we recommend rinsing them off with fresh water before wiping them dry. The abrasion from drying your lens with with salt water on them can eventually wear down the coating leaving marks and discoloration on your lens. After rinsing with fresh water you can dry your sunglasses with a clean cloth.
